Olympic Distance Triathlon that began in 2001 with 300 participants Lake to Lake has grown to one of the largest Olympic Distance events in the Rocky Mountain Region. Age group and Elite categories, as well as relays, Clydesdale , Athena and Aquabike categories. Beautiful venue and a “great home town feel.” Delicious post race meal, raffle and prizes for all categories. Participant max 950.

4th of July Celebration at North Lake Park, City of Loveland
Organized in the late 1970’s by local community groups, the July 4th Celebration in North Lake Park serves as the central site for celebrating Independence Day in Loveland. Festivities include food and game booths sponsored by nonprofit community organizations, entertainment sponsored by the City of Loveland, and the area’s largest and longest fireworks show sponsored by Loveland Fire & Rescue and the City of Loveland. This annual celebration attracts steady crowds during the day culminating with well over 20,000 people in the North Lake Park area when the fireworks demonstration begins.
